Description:
This large beautifully hand coloured original antique map of the Ottoman Empire in Europe from Greece to Hungary was engraved by John Neele in 1814 - the date is engraved at the foot of the map - and was published by the Scottish publisher John Pinkerton in his large-folio Modern Atlas between 1809-14.(Ref: Tooley; M&B)
