These
three beautifully hand coloured original
antique maps of Canada were engraved by Nicholas Bellin
in 1757 and were
published for Antoine-François Prevosts
20 volume edition of L`Histoire Generale des Voyages published
by Pierre de Hondt, The Hague
between
1747 & 1780.
The three maps represent
firstly Hudson's Bay, secondly the Gulf & River mouth of
the St Lawrence River and thirdly the St Lawrence River
from Quebec city to Lake Ontario.
